In the center of the village there is a monument (obelisk) in honor of Ludwik Bajer, hanged by the Nazis on a pear tree for the help he provided to escaped Russian and English prisoners of war. The execution took place on May 22, 1942. The monument was funded by the society of the village and surrounding areas, and unveiled on October 13, 1945.
