The history of the Auditorium Theater began with the purchase, in 1999, of the former Latteria Turnaria di Sàrmede. After a demolition which occurred for static reasons, the Pro Loco, with some bank loans and the contribution of the Veneto Region for 20%, succeeded in the dream of building a structure from scratch, decorated on the outside with frescoes by Gabriele Cattarin, Ines Benasciutti and Toni Ortiz, and curated internally by an architectural firm specialized in theatrical staging.
