There is a large hiking car park directly at the Mühlleiten Pass, which is subject to a fee. The advantage here is that you start your tours from high up ;-) and have the opportunity to go on wonderful hiking tours from here. My favorite is the round to the Aschbergturm and this as a circular route with a view over Klingenthal, the Grenzweg back up towards the tower, briefly over to the Czech Republic to the Aschberg cradle and Aschberg summit and then via the Loipenkammweg back to the parking lot.
It is advisable to hike this tour when visibility is good, as there are beautiful vantage points on the Aschberg tower and above Klingenthal.
