A large, eclectic building with an irregular shape. This is the former Landratura, i.e. the District Office.
The building was built in 1837. It was expanded several times in the following years, today it has the shape of an inverted letter L, two entrances from the front and - on the sides of the main body - two brick, arched gates leading to the courtyard. The front elevation is distinguished by a pseudo-risalit on one side and a turret topped with a cupola with a lantern on the other.
Various shaped windows also add charm, two of them decorated with stained glass. The largest one, which illuminates the representative room, has a preserved figural stained glass window depicting the allegory of Justice (restored in 1996). It is one of the few secular compositions in the region.
