The white tigers are a color variant of the Bengal tiger. Unlike their counterparts, they have blue eyes. A recessive genetic variant leads to their white fur. Many of the animals living today can be traced back to a white tiger that lived in India in 1951, who and his descendants have passed on their special appearance.
