The Teufelsstein is located in a small park at the Kappel: a double stone made of granite. In the Middle Ages, the Saint Wolfgang chapel stood here. It is believed that it was built here because the Devil's Stone used to serve pagan rituals, which the church considered devil worship and therefore erected Christian structures or symbols at such locations.

In a small park on the Kappel is the Teufelsstein. In the Middle Ages stood here the St-Wolfgang chapel. It is believed to have been built here because the Devil's Stone once served as a magical place or for pagan rituals that the church fondly misinterpreted as devil worship and erected Christian buildings or symbols in its place.
