This is a border hydroelectric power station between Rekingen 🇨🇭 and Reckingen 🇩🇪. So, when crossing, on foot or by bike, an ID is also required 😉. The border between Germany and Switzerland is in the middle of the Rhine. Half of the electricity produced is available to each of the two countries. The Reckingen power plant was built between 1938 and 1941, although the concessions had already been granted in 1928.
