The Old Royal Naval College is the impressive centre-piece of Maritime Greenwich. Originally the site hosted a palace, then a hospital, subsequently a training establishment and now has a whole range of uses - including regularly appearing in film and television scenes.

The building is still the seat of military naval training today. Behind it is the Naval Museum and at the top of the hill is the famous Greenwich Observatory, a historical reference point for all longitudes.
