A tidal reedbed, Burham Marshes is a 27-acre (11 ha) nature reserve living along the River Medway between Snodland and Burham. There's a footpath that follows the curve of the river, offering peaceful walks and some great opportunities to spot interesting birds. The sedge warbler, water rail, snipe and redshank all live here at various times of year.
