The path that leads from 701 to the bivouac is covered by a thick layer of lava sand, therefore maximum precaution is recommended when descending. The bivouac is very basic and is divided into 2 rooms with independent entrances. Inside each room there is only a fireplace, while in only one room there is a bunk bed. Outside a nice table with benches and barbecue area.
