An amazing ancient hill fort, steeped in legend, with impressive views over the Downs and the Weald.

Apparently created from spoil, flung by the devil, while excavating Devil’s Dyke to drown the Christians of Sussex. In addition to the devil, other spirits that can be summoned include a lady on a white horse and Julius Caesar. The devil is the only one that appears with supper.
