At Bolderford Bridge the tributaries of Ober Water and Highland Water join to become the Lymington River which flows into the Solent at Lymington.

During the summer months, this section of riverine woodland is a popular destination for visitors to rest, whilst during the winter the woodland helps to slow the water flow through the village. Riverine woodlands are also important wildlife corridors and in the summer look for dragonflies and maybe glimpse a kingfisher which nests in the river banks.

A nice quiet area to stop for a bite to eat...... as long as your have brought food with you, Then cool off in the clear fresh water before heading back on your way.
