The Torre de Cala Figuera is located on a cliff near the Faro de Cala Figuera lighthouse. Most of the torres are very old, around the 16th and 17th centuries, and were used to protect against pirates. It was part of a network of watchtowers built along the Mallorcan coast to warn the island of intruders.
