The horse sculpture on the Rheinkai is entitled "Nomade" and was created by the Mexican artist Gustavo Aceves. On the occasion of the festivities "May '45 - Spring in Berlin" on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation from the Nazi dictatorship in 2015, the artist had an art project with life-size horse sculptures on the Pariser Platz in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin under the title "Lapidarium" realized. The sculpture now installed on the Rheinkai was part of this project. "Nomade", the horse, stands in a boat and looks up the Rhine on the waters of the river. The sculpture appears vulnerable, with the center of her body revealing the ribs unprotected, and the fragile body, despite its size, stands on only two bronze pillars protruding from the boat, which also consists only of ribs.

About 2.50 m high bronze statue "The Nomade" by Gustavo Aceves. One of 43 horse sculptures by the artist. Nice to look at.

A great eye-catcher and definitely worth a photo.
