Himschoot Bakery is a monument in Ghent. It is one of the last traditional bakeries. It is also the oldest bakery in Ghent with a history dating back to the 17th century, where more than 65 types of bread have been prepared for generations to this day.
To make working more pleasant for our bakers, the workshop moved from the basement on the Groentenmarkt to Dok Noord at the beginning of 2019. There you can watch them work live while you quietly enjoy breakfast, lunch or a cup of coffee and cake.
