The Riffigweiher is located in Emmen in the canton of Lucerne. The small pond is located near the station Rothenburg village at an altitude of 490 meters above sea level. At Riffigweiher there is a fire pit ready for the summer barbecue. There is also a children's playground right on the pond.
While the western side of the pond is wooded, the settlement area begins on the eastern side. Right next to the Riffigweier is the Barackendörfli, a collection of former army properties that can be rented for club events.
