Tips

  • Near the top of Ros's hill there is a hole opened in the rock, forming a chasm. It is quite narrow and has a cylindrical shape, with a vertical drop of about 4 and a half meters. On specific climatological occasions, the air that circulates is expelled through the hole, thus moving the vegetation that surrounds it.
The Forat del Vent was already described by the geologist Jacint Elies in 1943. In 1972 the Speleology Section (SIS) of Olesa publicized the find and called it Nadal 72.

In the book Les Plantes de Viladecavalls by Àngel M. Hernández, the legend is quoted that says that when the gangs went out to the Forat del Vent, the groomsmen brought the girls to the hole, so that they could pull up their skirts.
    Observations:
It is also known as the Drilled Stone.
