Hiking

The Justinus Kerner Memorial stands today directly in front of the Kerner House in Weinsberg. It was ceremoniously inaugurated in 1865 and features a bronze relief portrait of the poet, created by the sculptor Eduard Herdtle. It was originally intended to be erected at Weibertreu Castle, but his son Theobald Kerner insisted that it be built in the immediate vicinity of his father's house.
