I visited twice in 2018, the beer is one of the finest in the world and this is the only bar that “officially” serves it (the abbey only sells direct to customers and doesn’t approve of bars re-selling it, but many do). The food here is also good, they serve cheese which is made in the abbey.

Where you can drink and buy Westvleteren, there is a shop with all kinds of products.
