A very worthwhile detour from the TMB: Up here you have peace and quiet, and the view of the spectacular southern cliffs of the Mont Blanc massif is much more comprehensive than from the valley.

Hiking
A fantastic climb in winter, with skis on your back for the final stretch. It then allows you to ski all the way down to La Thuile. It's quite tiring when it's all powder, but super fun!
