⚠️ Caution: The supposedly moderately difficult waterfall trail starts off very slippery downhill from here, then climbs extremely steeply back to the starting point on almost unmarked paths and over various waterfalls. It's more of a "difficult" route.

⛔️ Caution and a really serious warning: From here, when you leave the Levada da Norte, the path initially becomes very steep and slippery. It then continues along virtually unmade or unpaved trails, some of which are not even recognizable. You have to cross slippery streams and, in places, vertical mountain walls with hollows to step on. The paths are sometimes only 20 cm wide and wind their way up the mountain, with a 100 meter drop next to one. Extreme inclines and declines alternate. It is a very difficult and dangerous hike that cannot be completed in the stated time. It took us 5 hours without breaks.

Caution: It's best not to turn here. The route is very demanding. There are no marked trails, just small paths. It's easy to get lost and you have to cross slippery riverbeds at several points. There are dangerous drops along the way. I wouldn't recommend this route to anyone.

Great caution ⚠️! I wouldn't recommend this route to anyone! I've hiked many very challenging trails, including some difficult ones. But this isn't comparable to any other tour I've done before. Steep slopes, partially invisible paths, unpaved, steep, slippery, overgrown. Please be careful; unfortunately, I didn't see the comments under this picture! I would recommend everyone return the same way. The other route is far too dangerous.
