This church has been documented since the 13th century, although the site was mentioned as early as 859. It was the main parish church until the 14th century and later became a suffragan of Sant Esteve de Cantallops. It was eventually abandoned when worship moved to a new nearby sanctuary. Today, it is a place of history and charm surrounded by nature.
