The fact that dinosaurs lived and frolicked here millions of years ago is remarkable.
The location, i.e. the excavation site / site, turned out to be a total disappointment for me personally. You are a guest of the fence, the site is closed. There are only 3 information boards along with a Dixi toilet in the undergrowth.
At the time of my hike, there was a convivial crowd on the fenced-in area, who looked up at me as if I came from another star, as if you wanted to say who got lost here?
For a place that has been highlighted in the media, well, lovelessly and without ideas.
If you want to come here, please note, it is best to hike or bike. There are no parking spaces for motor vehicles in the immediate vicinity.

Hike on 02-01-2021
While on a previous hike in May 2020 I expressed my disappointment about the Jurassic Sea (archaeological site of an ichthyosaur) near Schandelah, which has been highlighted in the media, the entire facility has changed very commendably!
The excavation site as well as the nature trails are exemplary and have become an absolute highlight in the Wolfenbüttel district.
