While on a previous hike in May 2020 I expressed my disappointment about the Jurassic Sea (archaeological site of an ichthyosaur) near Schandelah, which has been highlighted in the media, the entire facility has changed very commendably!
The excavation site as well as the nature trails are exemplary and have become an absolute highlight in the Wolfenbüttel district.
