The Monument to Saint Mary and Saint John of Nepomuk, often referred to simply as the Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, is a Romanian Baroque monument on Freedom Square in Timisoara. It is one of the two plague columns erected in Timisoara after the Great Plague in 1738; the other is in neighboring Union Square.
The plague epidemic of 1738–1739 claimed the lives of around 1,000 of Timisoara's 6,000 residents.
