Forestry Museum Bošnjaci, a specialized regional natural history museum that deals with the presentation of forestry heritage, founded in 2005 in Bošnjaci as part of → Croatian Forests. It is one of the few forestry museums in the world and, along with the → Krasno Forestry Museum, follows the long-standing Croatian efforts to present the national forestry heritage as a museum. These efforts were partially realized in 1898, when the Forestry Museum, which operated until 1945, was ceremonially opened in the newly built Forestry House of the Croatian-Slavonic Economic Society in Zagreb (→ Croatian Forestry Society), on the occasion of the opening of the Forestry Academy.
