Tips
The two lakes of Bella Comba, enclosed in a gray and austere basin, are very picturesque. These can be reached from La Joux by a direct route, without passing through the Deffeyes Refuge, which is certainly busier during the summer season.
The first lake of Bella Comba is found just after a short rocky stretch. The upper Belle Combe lake is very distinctive with a sharp islet rising in the middle.translated by
