This is the main entrance. You can buy tickets here and most of transportation starts/ends here. You can get into the huge area of the palace at ANY TIME!! Your specific time slot just applies to the inner exhibition of the palace. But you can discover a lot around the castle so do not waste time outside!

To get here, you can take a bus (expensive and not very pleasant), a tuk tuk or an Uber. However, the winding and congested road is not the most pleasant, expect to take half an hour to go up from Sintra! I recommend going up through the forest, which is also populated, but much nicer!
