To represent man's endless transition between good and evil, eight life-size sculptures were placed in a circle in the meditation area at the northwest corner of the garden.
In Bali Hinduism-Buddhism, the endeavor of life is to follow the path (Dharma) to achieve Nirvana. Since Dharma cannot be enforced, man in the circle depicted faces a never-ending struggle unless Nirvana is achieved.
