The “Las Arenas” department store, which was inaugurated in 2011, was originally an old bullring that was built in the 19th century and had an impressive arched facade.

But times changed, bullfights stopped and a shopping paradise with 100,000 m² of space, 13 elevators (6 of them panoramic elevators!) and more than 20 escalators was given a chance. An opportunity that it definitely knew how to take advantage of: in terms of transparency and light, there is nothing to complain about thanks to the transparent dome on at least 6 floors and the all-round view on the top floor is definitely worth a visit. From the roof terrace you have a view of Montjuic, Joan Miró Park, the National Palace and many other sights.
