The Highlands Ranch Historic Park, which includes the iconic Highland Ranch Mansion, is an historic park complex in the Highlands Ranch community. The ranch and mansion reflect the history and lifestyle of the early settler community of the area, dating back several hundred years. The mansion itself is over a century old and has housed some of Denver's most prominent families. The ranch includes the mansion, two cottages, bunkhouse facilities, a carriage house, and a windmill; even today, it still functions as a working cattle and horse ranch.
