The owners of this house can be traced back to 1650. In 1812 the property, with the old house number XIV, was described as a half-timbered house with a bakery and wash house, two pigsties, a Hofraith and a
Schorrgärtlein."
From 1812 the royal district forester Ferdinand Pöhlmann lived here with his family.
From 1879 onwards, a spice shop was housed in this property.
In 1912 the local gendarmerie moved to the first floor of this residential building.
