The circular trail Osterode am Harz is about 16km long and offers some very nice views of the city and its gypsum cliffs. A section goes along the Karstwanderweg Südharz and a very small piece on the Harzer Hexenstieg. Unfortunately, the signs are a bit old, but you can read the signs "still". All in all, the circular walk is very nice and you should plan for about 3 hours without a break.
