The Grassee in the municipality of Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf, OT Vogelsdorf is located in the NSG “Fredersdorfer Mühlenfließ, Langes Luch and Breites Luch” and is completely redeveloped with land. Only on the west side does a path lead along the Zehnbuschgraben to the western foothills of the lake. However, the path ends after approx. 300 m at a property boundary. A second entrance from the east side is no longer accessible because it leads over private property.
The inflow into the Grassee comes via the Zehnbuschgraben, a tributary of the Fredersdorfer Mühlenfließ, which has often gone dry in recent years.
