It was a place where men and women met and celebrated after work was done.
During the war, prisoners of war were also stationed there and had to work there.
The blue heads in question were made by hand in the Klipperbuden 🪨⚒️. We know them as cobblestones😀.
Today, large machines 🚛 🚛 are used to drive the basalt 🪨🪨🪨 from the quarry into the crushing plant, where it is processed and sold.
