Cross a short section of thin ledges! This may be an important traverse to be aware of, regardless of length, due to the fact that snow slumps across the trail here and will require proper snow gear (microspikes/crampons/ice axe) in order to cross safely before the slump has melted and revealed the trail. After a very high snow year, the drift had melted by late fall. But you know what they say about snow drifts! It’s not the length that matters! 😅 It’s the fall 👀
