Pheasant Branch Creek is located near Madison and feeds into Lake Mendota’s northwest side. It’s not a very large creek, but there is a popular natural area surrounded by nice bike paths and trails at the far north end of the watershed. The views of the river from the bridge here, however, are pretty nice.
