Parish church of St. Emmeram in Wittesheim, built in 1842 in the neo-Romanesque style. Wittesheim is a district of the city of Monheim and is located in the north of the Donau-Ries district on the Monheimer Alb, hidden in a valley basin and surrounded by forests. The small Jura village has around 50 households and is located not far from the border triangle of Swabia, Upper Bavaria and Middle Franconia. The Ehbrust stream flows through the town and flows southeast into the Gailach, a tributary of the Altmühl.

The neo-Romanesque hall church was built in 1842 after the collapse of its predecessor. It consists of a nave, cruciform extensions in front of the recessed, semicircular choir to the east, and a church tower to the west, half-set within the nave. The ground floor houses the vestibule behind the portal. Its top floor houses the clock tower and the bell cage, topped by a pointed spire. The Art Nouveau designs for the church's interior were created by Michael Kurz. The sculptures were created by Karl Baur. The organ, with 12 stops distributed over two manuals and a pedal, was built in 1972.
