Aydat Lake is the largest natural lake in the Auvergne department with an area of 65 hectares. It is located 850 m above sea level.

Aydat Lake is located at an altitude of 850 meters. It is the largest natural lake in Auvergne. It was born from the lava flow from two wells. Today, it is a place where several nautical activities can be practiced. I highly recommend a quick stop at the terrace of the La Cocotte Bleue restaurant. The view and the welcome are simply perfect!
