The Paradiso pass area contains significant historical value: in these places disputed between the Austro-Hungarian empire and the kingdom of Italy, several battles were fought during the First World War. Today, the monument to the Brotherhood, immediately visible as soon as you get off the Paradiso cable car, bears witness to these events.
