Gammel Pøl (Danish: "Alter Pfuhl") refers to the southeastern tip of the Danish island of Als and the local lighthouse Gammel Pøl Fyr. The district as well as the lighthouse belong to the parish community (Danish: Sogn) Lysabild Sogn, which belonged to the Danish municipal reform of 1970 to Harde Als Sønder Herred in the former Aabenraa-Sønderborg Amt, then to Sydals Kommune in the then Sønderjyllands Amt, in the course The municipal reform took effect on 1 January 2007 in the "new" Sønderborg municipality in the region of Syddanmark.
