The reservoir it situated in a serene part of Exmoor. Lying deep in the valley, many passing hikers do not even realise it is here. However, from this spot you get a good view of the water nestled into the countryside. In 1942, Nutscale Water was dammed to supply Porlock and Minehead with fresh water. Now it just serves a few properties.
