The Bois de Soye is a forest of approximately 100 hectares located on the left bank of the Sambre, between the villages of Mornimont and Soye. This ancient wood, dating from the 17th century, has been preserved from artificialization and fragmentation, and is home to a rich plant and animal biodiversity, including rare birds and butterflies. You can explore the forest on foot by following the marked trails or the railway line which crosses the south of the area.
