In 2022, a new arch bridge was also installed in Tervant over the Albert Canal. However, a letter T was cut from a piece of the old bridge, which certainly has a story to tell. The monument is located on the canal, behind the church of Tervant. And it's not alone there. A number of information boards tell you almost everything about the hamlet with an extra focus on the World War, history and the bridge. Anyone who visits it - or looks at the photos - will immediately know why the previous bridge was called a Vierendeel bridge. As a finale you will find a beautiful poem about bridges by Jens Meijen and a picnic bench to digest it all.
