Hiking
The St. Marien Church is one of the landmarks of Quakenbrück. It was built in the 17th century on the remains of a Burgmannshof. However, it no longer has its original shape today: after it was largely destroyed in the course of the Second World War (only the striking neo-Gothic tower was preserved), it was rebuilt in 1950 in the simplified form of a basilica.
