The Protestant parish church is a listed building. The three-storey Romanesque west tower from the twelfth century was crowned in 1726 with a helmet. It has a wall thickness of about two meters on the ground floor and is almost 30m high. The tower bell was cast in 1750 by Christian Voigt, the clock tower was built in the 19th century.

The building was erected from 1823 to 1833 under the direction of the agricultural inspector Philipp Leonhard Pistor based on a type design of the Oberbaudeputation in Berlin. It is a classical hall building with a three-sided closed choir. The west tower is built in.
