El Farell is one of the hardest climbs in the Vallés area. It is an 8 km climb with an average slope of 5.8% and some ramps that reach 9%. It is a very constant climb, with some easier sections and some more demanding areas at the beginning and end. The road is in good condition, sometimes a little narrow, with slightly irregular areas due to the roots of the pine trees that surround the road at all times. In the last km of the climb, the road opens and there are good views of the Caldes de Montbui area and the coastal mountain range.

Beautiful, smooth, nearly car-free climb with approx 400m of elevation gain. Great views of Barcelona and surroundings. Cafe on top too!
