Due to the constant strong wind, the coast is rough and wild. Hotspot for amateurs and professionals📷!

In the natural pools of Agaete it is possible to 🏊🏻 or simply chill on the black sand and stone beach, although the coast is always rough due to the constant strong wind!

The three large natural pools are connected underground by lava tubes and were created from the former salt mines that were used to extract salt in earlier times. The stone walls protect you from the open sea and the waves of the sea are somewhat weakened. However, on days when the sea is particularly rough and the weather is very stormy, you should not underestimate the power of the waves and be a little more careful. From the pools you not only have a great view of the Atlantic Ocean, but also of the island's cliffs.
