The Maniago Refuge, at 1,730 m, is located in the Friulian Dolomites, is open from June to September, and offers typical local cuisine and overnight accommodation. Starting point for ascents to Cima Duranno and Cime Centenere. The Maniago refuge, operational during the summer, is located in the upper Zemola valley, at the southern foot of Mount Duranno. Once you arrive at the refuge, a breathtaking view opens up over the surrounding Dolomites and the surrounding woods. Around the structure, there are several paths suitable for running, but one of the simplest and most exciting is the climb to the Centenere peak. The terrain is not very technical, but be prepared for some steep climbs.
