Hiking

You go up to Cava Buscada, in addition to the refuge, I recommend a visit to the quarry. Active since 1957, the quarry was decommissioned in 1994. The quarry is an integral part of the history of the Valley, the refuge was the home of the quarrymen. The marble has a dark copper-red color and you can also find it in the refuge and in the homes of Erto itself. You can also see several ammonites that tell a story of thousands of years.
