This loop allows a more extensive tour of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. However it is only open from late spring through to the end of summer. The walking is along service roads but this gives access to excellent birdwatching points including the wetland overlook platform at the end of the trail.

NOTE: This walk is closed from October 1 - April 30 every year for wildlife restoration.
